Bivar’s latest addition to our RGB LED lineup comes in the form of 0807 and 1204 miniature standard packages.
The SM0807RGB and SM1204RGB are wide viewing angle LEDs offered in a water clear lens for use in reduced space applications such as indication or backlighting. Their high luminous intensity can be used in a variety of industries, and the flexible three chip design allows for a wide variety of lighting options where the chips can be individually driven or mixed to create numerous color and intensity combinations. The LEDs are packaged in a tape and reel for pick and place machines and can be also hand soldered or soldered using specialized equipment. Dimensions for pick and place machines can be found in the datasheet. The SM0807RGB and SM1204RGB are RoHS Compliant. The LED chips have low power consumption demand and long-life reliability, making them suitable for battery-powered applications.
